Donovan brothers outing May 17-18 2019

I got to spend two great days with the brothers Donovan. Dick, Ward, Bob, and Jim. On Friday our plan to work the shore for browns was quickly changed by a salmon bite as we set up. Big fish of the morning being taken by Ward, a 23# king on lite trout tackle. Fishing was good until around 10AM when the bite stopped. A couple of hits until the Afternoon when we got one last flurry of activity before pulling lines for the day. Saturday morning was a very slow start but moved off shore and got into some activity with Lake trout. Once again Ward lead the leader board with a 14# trout.
